WHY IS THE LOGO FEATURED ON THE BACK?!
 
Jews are not permitted to make aliyah or ascend (visit) the Temple Mount while wearing or carrying traditional religious items or objects (such as tefillin, tallit, and even a siddur or prayer book). When The Mikdash Market launched, all our products featured our logos on the back so the olim or ascender (visitor) could cover it with a second layer of clothing and not be prevented from ascending (visiting) our holy home. The back-facing logo series continues to this day in honor of all those who fought for equal rights and access on the Temple Mount when something as simple as a t-shirt, featuring an image of our Temple, was banned by the Israel Police from from being worn when visting this sacred space.
